You rule again! This ship is quite rich with detail, typical 70's style ship. That was such a great era for greeblie-rich designs.

It's definitely got greeblies!
I'm having very little luck finding a good top view, but I have found my other Buck Rogers CDs (2 episodes to a CD). Apparently I actually have both seasons complete. There is some alcohol in desperate need of drinking here at the moment, but after work tomorrow I'll scan through some more episodes and try and find you a view of the top.

Right, several of my season 2 episodes won't open. I've been through the rest, and the only shots of the top are like that one of it engaging plasma drive - too far away to see any real detail. I'm going to try a couple of tricks to get the other video files to open up. Will let you know how I get on, but it's looking more and more certain that they didn't show the top of the ship in much detail during the series.
I'm also going to see if my copy of "Cruise Ship to the Stars" will open, and see if any shots of the Learian Queen show the top since the Searcher was built from that model.

Woah, when did I get promoted?

I just obtained some RPG Buck Rogers books from the great past, I haven't really looked at them yet, but if there is a pic in there I will surely post it.

Hey you know what would help? Info on stats for the ships, like number and type of guns. I've always wondered how the Searcher was outfitted.

Right, couple of shots showing roughly the same angle on the top as the "going to plasma drive" ones but slightly closer. Going to keep trying to find something better than that.

You still looking for pics of the Searcher???
I got the full DVD box set, and could spend some time trying to screenshot pics of the Searcher from it...

That's great! But this is a project for the New Year sometime when I find a lull at school. The Searcher is my Everest, I will climb it some day!
