I think the "F" launcher is the lowest you can go. I'm not too sure about the diff between it and the"C" rack, though.
If you look at the earliest stats for the D-7, it has an "F" rack.
Looks like Romulan War era ships are stuck with it!

Someday, I actually need to sit down and figure out what the hell is what in SFC... my modding of the game is slightly hampered by the fact that I don't much like it...

F rack: one per two turns.
C rack: two per one turn.
BIG DIFFERENCE!
Mirak BC with two B racks and two C racks is very, very evil.

I forget....are the cyan / blue nacelles one of the things about the ship which somebody pointed out can be distinguished in an FX shot of the episode?
I know there's a general belief that they are blue, but I'm wondering where that started from.

On-screen evidence looks inconclusive to me... in the front-on shots, when it's firing, it looks like the nacelles could be bluish, but in the side shot when it's about to cloak, they look transparent... This was based largely on Anduril's Warbird, so CJ just used a similar color...

The FX shots from TOS show the warbirds bussards are dark bluish in color..tho detail is blurry at best. The bussards were never lit up. Id post screen caps if i had some available.
