Atra I have a question looking at a top view of the base should there not be an internal docking hub that the pods mate to? This would facilitate tranfering material from pod to pod. But now that I think of it depending on the size of the top and bottom element these could theoritically house turbo-lift shafts to move personnel and cargo around. Guess I'm still not awake this morning ;D

Still deciding on this one... ;D What's to decide on? Release ALL the versions of the Klingon MBs please and spec them later, LOL. We don't have enough non-fed bases to begin with. Although uniformity and standardization is great, the Klingon allies (or customers) should have slightly different pod arrangements to meet their own needs IMHO. Specifically, Tholian versions should be arranged differently than the carbon-based standardized Klingon, Lyran or Romulan versions. What the silicone based Tholians require for life support systems alone would literally fry any carbon based life forms stepping foot inside a purchased mobile base given enough time even with a specialized environmental suit. For that reason alone, I would see them rearranging the mobile base to put in the appropriate adaptive equipment and to give themselves enough elbow room to move, LOL. In the meantime... I have Destiny Nova based textures completed for a Seltorian version of the Klingon Mobile Base. I have a Thulls based texture set completed for the Lyran version of the Klingon Mobile Base. Which reminds me... The N-6 STILL needs a one pod version. Once that's done, I can either replace or augment your D-5 based tugs for SFC:OP+ 4.0. Interesting phenomenon; when I retextured the pods I could not get the pod's top textures to show up in place until the N-6 textures were added to the retexture file I was working on. UPDATE: atra, check your e-mail Qapla' KF

I think for the next little while I'll be focussing on FF or CL releases for the Klingons, Feds, and maybe the Roms.

I think for the next little while I'll be focussing on FF or CL releases for the Klingons, Feds, and maybe the Roms. That's disappointing. I really thought these Klingon bases already made, completed and ready to go. Oh well. No more bumps for me on this topic then. Qapla' KF
