Pennant and registry, and inside of warps detailed. The ship needs more panelling and more tiny details to be more NX-ish though. Also have to decide on window layout. Deciding on details for this ship will give further guidance for the OCL.

Really great, Atra! Does the Burke have any shuttles or embarked craft? How about torpedoes?

The deck plans say the shuttle bay is aft of the saucer's ventral bulge, and the police carrier variant has that area extended. Torps are thos red circles under the bridge. The advantage of making it NX-ish is that the ship will be OK to look at in the later eras, with rectangular engine upgrades for the batle frigate variant of course. Also, the ship starts so far back in the timeline (2227) that it overlaps with the "Early Era" (which lasts until at least 2235), and those era ships seem to have strong NX-ish details judging from the "System Defense" module cover where we get the GCA (National Guard Heavy Cruiser) and the GFF, which were formerly the YCA (Early Years Heavy Cruiser) and YFF. You know, if the Burke started in 2227 and was in the Early Era for 8 years, it must have been like that era's Defiant-class! Ph1 and overloaded torps when everyone else had just Ph2 (if they still didn't have just lasers) and regular torps.

For later Burke variants, I think I'll make a laminate hull that gives an extra deck. It'll look good for the battle frigate.

The basic lines of the GFF (National Guard Frigate) but without the fore sensor cut out yet.

woah. . .that later Burke is really nice. I like it.
I do not like the GFF. In part. . .the entire premise of the Guard Ships is really flaky, so I am biased. For this GFF, I think you need to do something to seperate the engines and the saucer. With out making it look like a NCL.

I'll try to make the GFF more palatable later.
As for the "laminate hull" Burke...That's the model that everyone will probably end up preferring to use, because although I can make the Burke exactly as she appears in the deck plans, the problem is that it is still a dorky looking thing. So my idea is that the basic F-FF can be the GURPS ship, but all of the variants after that will be the cooler looking laminate hull model...which I will take liberties with to make it look extremely cool. The Burke class is quite important because it's always popping up in scenarios, and it needs proper representation in the game while still remaining true to TOS/SFB style.

One of the later variants that will be made available. The engine is a linear engine using circumferential components...a hybrid! It looks "Phase II" and not completely going over to TMP. It's an extrapolation of the "boxy" engine that the Burke is sometimes depicted with.

For the love of Jefferies, use another B/C DECK!
I imagine you're a little restricted because of the deck plans, but can you please try another B/C deck? It's simplicity is a bit tacky, and feels out of place, even for the Burke.

Those blueprints Disappointed me I was hoping to see somthing that would match the Miniature not go off on another tangent. If they wanted to make a A-B deck I would have shaped it to match the Reshadie A-B deck at least that way it would have matched the YCA technologie the next up grade could have been the miniature but with Bridge dome and the next would have been using a tmp bridge to the sauces ;D

I have heard your cries for reform, and vow to offer a variant that uses a snazzier B deck.
