USS Enterprise from the new movie

If we all agree (and "all" includes the people responsible for making this film) that this is actually a complete re-boot, then my stance is as follows.

As far as the ship goes:

The nacelles - don't mind 'em. Almost look Endeavor-ish if you squint really hard ;D
The primary hull/saucer section - okay with it.
The secondary hull/engineering section - ugly, ugly, ugly.
And why the hell is the saucer set that far back on the engineering section? Just makes it look completely unbalanced.

As far as what we know about the rest of the movie goes:

I'm up for it. Simon Pegg as Scotty? Going to be awesome. I'll forgive the movie a lot just for having Simon Pegg. And hell - it can't possibly be any worse than the unmitigated disaster that was "Nemesis"....*shudder*

to me it simply looked..awkward..though the few frontal shots in the trailer seemed to be just about right..so from certain angles, this ship looks good... it seems like the PTB at Paramount picked the WORST possible angle to show this ship at..the new trailer has me thinking positively though..

Yea not too fond of it, the styling is great but they should have followed the profile of the Classic E much more closely..

Initially I was against the design too, but I'm going to give it (and the movie) a chance. After all, it's not like they're starting all over from TNG...
