Will he speak intelligently on subjects and get invited to panels, where people will listen to him intently and be wowed by his knowledge and insight?
Or try to be active in making the world a better place by creating organizations that will try to solve problems like debt and hunger?
My money's on "no".
Watching Clinton on that CNN panel about world problems made me realize that you need a really smart one up there on top of it all if the world is going to get any better.
Then I think of Bush and become really...saddened. No wonder the world is shit now!

His only cause is to advance the interests of the corporations that put him in power in the first place. Absolutly everything that he and his neocon cronies have done has been to their benefit, to the detriment of the common man. You can count on him doing the same after his term is up.

He'll just spend a lot of time on his ranch... which will make his retirement indistinguishable from his Presidency...

I just can't believe he has left those black people in New Orleans so long. This was his last crapy move in his political career so far. I hope he ends his existence on the top of his country...

If by that you mean he gets killed before his term is up then I think we can all agree with that sentiment. Personally I think you guys should just change the constitution to allow Billy boy back in, he was the best Pres' you've had in recent times.

Billy Boy was good, but actually I think Gore would have done a great job as well. I don't detect a lot of philosophical difference between the two of them, they are both very smart men.

It seems the US agreed with you at the time, Gore did get the most votes. which logically means he should have been president were it not for foxtrot-uniform-charlie-kilo-ed electoral systems that ignore the wishes of the people.

I picture Bush as a kind of sad figure in his retirement..kinda like LBJ, who was unable to face up to the major mistakes during his terms in office...Vietnam, Great Society, War on Poverty..etc. all failures that drained money away from more worthwhile projects...
