When I go outside:
1) Wear a thick mask when I go outside that is pre-soaked with double vinegar.
2) Wear thin rubber gloves.
3) Use a disinfectant spray on whatever I touch, an around me as well.
At home:
1) Buy another air cleaning machine for more coverage.
2) Keep windows and doors closed.
3) Use auto-spray air freshening devices with a disinfectant solution in every room.
4) Leave charcoal in deep bowls lying around (it cleans the air).
5) Boil all my water.
6) Use alcohol in my laundry and ammonia, vinegar, alcohol on my floors.
Did I miss anything?

Well..not eating anything except boiled cabbage would help...(You would be left VERY much alone)!!!

I hope you're being sarcastic. It's hard to tell, but surely you aren't falling for the hysteria. This is like the SARS "epidemic" that killed all of, what, fifty people in North America?
Of course, your PM isn't prepared to safeguard your safety like our Glorious Leader by using the military to quarantine infected areas.
What's the job market like up there?

Seriously, Bird Flu isn't hype...it's killed several thousand people in Southeast Asia..and that wasn't in it's new Human mutation...the treatment is available..but the US government has been (as usual!) asleep at the switch..and has ordered pitiful amounts until recently...and with a 6 month backlog..the treatment will arrive AFTER most of the effects have already been felt..
precautions that one can take...
most viral infections are spread through surface contact with the hands..which are then touched to the eyes..
CDC estimates that we could reduce the spread of viral infections by 10% if folks cough/sneeze into the elbow...30% if safety glasses are worn over the eyes and 25% if a filter mask is worn..that's 75% total folks!!! if the epidemic actually develops...I just might try to start a new fashon trend!! ;D

Screw Disease. I take almost no precautions, because if there is a disease my body can't handle, I deserve to suffer and/or die.
Call it passive Eugenics.
And so far, as a result of this conditioning, I almost never get sick.
