Which brings up two good points;
1) Why on earth does this ship have so many troops? Is this as many as or more than a D7?
2) More interesting is the inclusion of an ADD. Why does such an early ship have an ADD? Obviously, it makes the ship more "drone proof", but this makes the ship TOO drone proof for something in the early period with a BPV under 50. For a ship this size, the 4*p3 is more than adequate.
Thoughts?

And BTW: I have a similar issue with the Fed DDG, which has two G racks. In my own shiplist, the DDG has two "B" racks (no ADD's); whilst the DDG+ gets two "G" racks (complete with ADDs).
To take it a step further, I would pull all the ADD's off of Mirak/Kzinti ships; since their anti-drone technology was always based upon P3's. But, alas, if you add more P3's (or even gatlings) to a ship like the CM, it would be TOTALLY debalancing.
- - - - -
Although, looking at the shiplist a bit closer; other than the CM ADD's appear on the NCA, BCH, DN, carriers and escorts. Excluding the carriers and escorts for a moment, only the CM would be debalanced by the removal of ADD in favor of one or three P3's. Hmmmmm. . .

Maybe troops were freeze-dried until needed?
As for ADD, any and all escorts seem to have them. Remember their job is not to protetct themselves, it's to protect a carrier.

True. If this ship was introduced along with the D6CV. . .I would agree. But this ship was introduced prior to the D6 (no bloody B, C, D or CV). What carriers were around then? Hydrans? Bah.

Atra said a crew and marines of a 150 that is as awhole.
From the E-3 SSD in Advanced Missions of SFB rulebook. There are 120 total crew, which includes marines, of which there are 25.
1 crew box = 10 crew members, 1 Boarding Party box = 5 marines, and the Marines are consider part of the crew numbers. So 2.5 of the crew boxes are actually Marines.
Deck crews are considered like Boarding Parities.

Actually, I was wondering about that, whether the marine calculation was considered a part of the crew or not. Thanks for clarifying that! It's handy to know.

This is all in the basic rulebook, G9 Crew. Also that calculations that every 10 hits kills 1 crew unit, and 1 boarding party. With the Exception that the first 4 BP casulties are not counted. So BP hits don't start till after the first 40 hits are counted. Also the last crew unit, and 2 BP can't be killed. Because there are always survivors.
Deck crews are only killed, when fighter/shuttle boxes are destroyed.

well. . .just got around to loading these models into the game.
First thought. . .MAN they take a long time to load up! How many pollies on these monsters?
Second thought. . .WOW. . .they look cool.
Third thought. . .face a couple of G6's together, and suddenly you have serious drone issues.

It's not the polies, it's the number of surfaces which I should have grouped together before release. I'll remember to take care of that for future releases.

Hmmm. . . I think I would like to make a mistake. Can you guess what that would be from this thread?

Carrier groups really don't work worth beans in SFC, so I reclassify them as spec role "q" in shipedit for use as convoy escorts and glorified police ships, myself...

Btw do you know what the difference is between Q and q?

There shouldn't be one, per the manual for shipedit there's only the one option, "q", was a typo in the compile...
Btw, no joy on dl 3.1, would you be willing to de-lod the third nacelle (b-1 model)?
