I've been working on new TMP hull textures from scratch. The only thing that I cant seem to get right is making the aztec pattern for the saucer. Could someone shoot me a few pointers?

Ooh, ooh, I know this one (If I'm understanding your question, that is. ;D) First, Draw an aztec pattern. Here's the one that I made for Atolm's Gorns Then, if using photoshop hit... filter->distort->polar coordinates->rectangular to polar In PSP it's basically the same thing effects->distortion effects->polar coordinates->rectangular to polar ...you'll get something like this I hope that's what you're looking for. Sorry the pics are so big, but I wanted the pattern to show up.

Yup, thats how you do it. Thats how i did mine for cylinfrical hull patterns you will prolly have to wing it as you go. I would suggest a random pattern.
