I bet you that Spock visits the Guardian of forever and is given the choice to go into the past and mess with things.

He must be the enemy in the movie...but two "vs Romulan" Star Trek movies in a row? I don't know about that... Well, there were adversarial Klingons in TSFS, TVH, TFF, TUC, Generations....and Klingons also shown in TMP and in the simulator scene of TWOK. So if anything, Romulans are still pretty under-used in Trek movies I'm still very concerned that they're going to royally bugger this up. They probably won't make a bad film, but they might not make a very good Trek one. I hope they do, just so I can have the satisfaction of knowing that Nemesis didn't kill the franchise. And yet....I just wish they'd made something out of the reboot J. Michael Straczynski and Bryce Zabel proposed. That would have made a great 2/2.5 hour movie to lead into a new series.

I'm fully expecting them to bugger it up, but of course I'll still watch it at least once. I just hope to see nice art on the ships and gadgets.
