I am trying to scale all my ships to their correct sizes and i need some help with them. I have the canon ones but the SFB ships are harder to come by. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

oooh. . . I wanna play.
OK. . the FCL looks like an Akula?
What ship (and where can I get it?) are you using for the FF? And is that an Ariel I see as your FCVS?
Note to self: Time to find and download the Mars.

Somebody just released a Mars using WZ's parts on dynaverse.
Well mostly the Burke, Federation, the Battlecruisers, the Kearsarge and the Chicago.
Actually now that I think about it, every ship that wasn't seen on TV or in a movie. Including the Romulans and Klingons.
I have using the Pre-refit Constituition's 289m as a base.

Note to self: Time to find and download the Mars. These are the old fleet dock 13 Models the FCL is an Akula class the FF If I remember right is the Masterson class what looks like an Ariel is actually a Mcquarrie class there was a gentle being on the web who did a nice techincal schematic of the ship. if fleetdock 13 is not up pm me with your e-mail address and I'll send you the zip files

You mean the classic SFB Napoleon CVA?
The beloved flatbed?
Great versions of both this ship and the hideous abomination (the three engined CVA) are on Desty Nova's site.

That's not Destiny's, and to be frank I'm not sure I would describe his as "great". It is good, but it is also low-poly. Like Ghost's old models, on it's own it is nice looking, but put it next to Schtupp's, WZ's, or Atra's ships and it starts to look a tiny bit shabby. It is the best one out there, but I am on the look-out for a better version (it's such a shame Schtupp abandoned his).

Those are nice depictions of the SFB battleships, but are not what I envision them to be like at all, considering they are supposed to enter at Y175 with old style weapons. I'll be getting round to those eventually.

True, shame Schtupp stopped working on his. Of course, the Kitty Hawk was more of CVS version of the old flatbed; not the full blown CVA
Regarding the battleships. . . heh. . .there is that old TOS/TMP break. The SFB crowd never went to the TMP style of engines. If you read that lore, the entire GW which was what. . about 15-20 YEARS after the events of TOS was fought with old style engined ships.

I appreciate all the help I'm still not clear on the approximate size of the Kearsarge and Chicago. Are they about the same length as a Miranda class ship? The Burke appears to be no longer than the diameter of the Connies saucer. Also, is the Federation the same length as a Connie?
