Personally, I like showtunes. Rod Stewart is one of the few pop singers that I enjoy. His gravelly voice is quite unique in music.

With the current order (which is obvious): John Farnham Alice Cooper Dream Theater Evergrey W.A.S.P. Type O Negative Sisters Of Mercy KAT (Polish gothic metal-they made some English music) Pearl Jam Moonlight Artrosis Nocturnal Rites Symphony X Faith No More Therion Within Temptation Nightwish Iron Maiden Metallica Vader ;D ;D ;D ;D Some of this music and bands will not be known to you. I am still avoiding talks about music. From music (I mean this point) there is a short way to start quarrels So in my opinion everybody has his preferrences. We can't tell anybody that my, your music is better cause something something etc... If such thing appears I'm starting to withdraw from talking about music Have a nice day... and feel your music

Yeah, I forgot Rush too, then again there's tons of bands that I love, mostly some of the newer rock and the like. IDIC or not, neo-rap is fucked up, literally.

Hmmm then I would encourage you to get Dream Theater. This is Progressive Metal. This music is a mixture of Rock, Metal and other music genres I am also a great fan of Evergrey (They're from Sweden and they're last album: The Inner Circle really changed my view on music) Have a nice day

My favorites:
The Danse Society The Cure The Electric Hellfire Club Ministry Skinny Puppy Manowar The Police Weird Al Yankovic Supertramp Mastur Clan of Xymox Faith No More Iron Maiden Judas Priest Type O Negative
(Thats just the ones that I like most the stuff I have heard by them.) There are many many more bands I listen to, be it one or two songs or just one album. This part of the list would go on forever but will list a few.
Bauhaus Queen The Doors Led Zepplin Styx Suspiria Switchblade Symphony Rammstein Rob Zombie / White Zombie The Moody Blues The Who The Smiths Nirvana
...and lots and lots more than I can think of at the moment.
About the only music I can say that in general I am not fond of (actually more closer to hating) is Rap and Country (Though there are a few rare exceptions, and of those, some are actually some of my favorite songs)
Songs in particular that I really like: "No Words" Clan of Xymox "The Theme" The Danse Society "The Highway Man" The Highway Men "Testure" Skinny Puppy "Masterblaster" Front 242 "Solsbury Hill" Peter Gabriel "Evil Genius (The Queen of Sin)" Electric Hellfire Club "Wonderboy" Tenatious D (Just to name a few)
