"Stable democracy" my ass. What a fool's dream. People don't even know the people who are on the ballots because that's been kept secret out of fear that they'd get assassinated by the insurgents!
That's just not an informed body of voters.
Let's examine the realities here: The insurgents will not let up. Factionism will always be a problem. IF one group reigns supreme it'll be the most ruthless and bloodiest group, and likely turn the country into another religious state, worse than what it was under Saddam!
If there are any arguments against this I'd sure like to hear them now.
