...of that song that sings about the 80's being the best decade ever?

Erm, I hesitate to answer but I think you mean 1985 by Bowling for Soup, you know that cheesy pop-punk band. The video parodies loads of old MTV vids, Addicted to Love by Robert Palmer, Faith by George Michael and a couple of others. For some reason it's immensely popular amongst people who have absolutely no recollection of the 80s at all so an edited version for Radio Disney has mutilated a couple of lines to remove mentions about prozac and how the girl in the song has only shagged one bloke. And they even changed 'shakes her ass' (WTF? ) Seeing as I was only born in the year the song talks of my recollections of the 80s are a little faded, mostly centred around the very late 80s, though I have since vicariously discovered the good music and films with the benefit of being able to skip all the dross. In another couple of years there'll be a song about the 90s and my generation can feel old and out of date.

What a blast!
But the song I think i'm looking for specifically has a line in it to the effect that the 1980's was the best decade ever.
There's also a line in it about watching Three's Company, and something about The Breakfast Club.
Anybody have any inkling?

Hmm, well in that case I don't know any more songs that remenisce about that decade, though the lyrics to that song do mention The Breakfast Club. Sorry I can't help further.
