The Ark used to be a repository of all kinds of ships, mostly from TAS and the unusual obscure designs from all the wonderful fan work from before TNG. It's also the only place where (now, at least) the SFB designs get any loving.
But all the models are gone! None of the download links work, and few (if any) of Atra's models are attainable through Battleclinic.
It only gets worse as time passes. Initially I wanted to grab the Burke frigate, but now I have an urge to grab the Huron and Robot Grain ship from the Animated Series- but they are nowhere to be found (except here) with dead links! The same goes with the D6- I have the Romulan version, but it's original Klingon skinned version (once available here) isn't up anymore.
I don't think of this as a complaint, just a request for all of these models to become easily available somehow so we can all enjoy them.
I speak for myself but I'm sure other fans of your work, Atra, would agree with me.

A couple of years ago Atra stopped modeling and abandoned his site. Later he established this site when he got back into SFC and intended to get all his old models back up, with updates, but never quite got around to reposting everything, so some of the links never worked. This fall he started school to become a professional computer artist, and his SFC modeling has again fallen to the back burner. He said he intends to create a new site, but until then this one has apparently been abandoned. He is likely too busy with school to do much hobby modeling, so we can hardly blame him. But he never did finish and upload his F5 or updated Burke.

Well if he's not going to continue modeling, perhaps in the very least he could release all his current completed models as a pack or something on Battleclinic? Perhaps one of the other SFC modeling sites still in existence? There've been too many high-quality models that went the way of the dodo (the Mirror fleet from Mudd's Tiberius yards as one example).

As much as I'd like to get the F5, I can't quite muster up the gall to pressure him now. I remember college, and I sure wouldn't have appreciated anyone fussing at me to finish hobby projects for free when I had much more important things to worry about.
Besides, Atra also has a habit of dropping off the radar for a few months and then releasing a bunch of models. He had a pretty dry spell before this past Summer when we got all those great Klingon and Romulan ships. So when he is in such a dry spell, all we can really do is be patient.

Hey buds, thanks for understanding. I'm actually busy designing a whole fleet now for a concept project for school, and it kicks ass. It's not Trek though. Have a happy new year, and I do have a free week coming up after finals this week!

Hahahahhahahahhahahah! Boy am I giddy! We did presentations today and I was the only one to whom the teacher said "I'm very impressed!" That was after his ooooohs and aaaahs of course. To everyone else he said "I would like to have seen more." Yeah, these young 'uns learned something about doing it the old school way. By the way, it was a proposal for a Space 1999 project.

Nicely done. Space 1999 I enjoyed and it would be nice to see some eagles flying around firing thier lasers and what not. Moon base Alpha would make a nice Shooter game. ;D

So in the end Trek fell by the wayside to Space 1999?
