So. . . suspecting virus activity on my PC. . . .
I downloaded and ran AVG version 8.
The only file it didn't like on my system was . . . .modviewer.exe.
Go figure. It's one of my most run files! AVG claims "Virus found Downloader.Swizzor". Actually, I have this file in 4 places on my PC. It flagged all four instances.
Norton AV scanned the file for YEARS without comment.
Should I just blow this off the system and find a fresh copy?

Someone else posted the same problem with the same AV at Dynaverse. My guess is it's a false positive. It happens sometimes. If you're worried, use an online virus scanner to check the file, or download Avira and double check.

I'm running Nod 32 antivirus and have the Model viewer on my system and I get nothing wrong. Me thinks theres something in AVG that doesn't like something in that prog.

Yeah. . .I was having "issues" so that is why I ran AVG.
Funny part was AVG found the swizzor in Model Viewer. . .but not in the registry. Spybot found Swizzor in the Registry.
Ultimately. . . .the problem proved to be a failed fan on the video card. (!).
I guess I should dequarentine model viewer.
